Hello friends!

Coming to you today from Cloud 9, where we’re still riding the post-open garden day swell of good feelings & joy!

We planned & worked so hard to put on our best garden face for the #AvoimetPuutarha event last Sunday. Despite rain in the forecast, visitors kept coming even when the thunder roared and the raindrops started falling.  We lost track of how many people actually visited since we had to put away the guest book due to showers & soggy pages. Our guess is somewhere near 150 couples & families – so possibly closer to 300 actual people? WOW. WOW. WOW!!!

To our blogging friends and community: Many visitors commented that they’d found our twitter feed and blog site, but I never knew. So to everyone who blogs, I’d like to say: keep at it! People are reading your pages and are interested in what you’re doing. Even if you rarely hear a comment or never receive feedback, keep doing what you’re doing!

Countless photos of our garden are currently traveling through cyber space & various social networks!! We’ve heard from several gardening groups interested in scheduling additional summer & autumn garden tours of Vanha Talo Suomi!!

We are so humbled and full of joy! It’s a great feeling – we’re on Cloud 9!
