Open Garden Day

Hello everyone!

We got a little rain which brightened up everything outdoors!! We’re still a long way from being out of this drought, but there’s always the chance we’ll pick up some extra rain in the remaining weeks of June, before we enter the summer months ahead.

This post is to confirm that we are having an OPEN GARDEN DAY. For one day only this summer we will be opening the garden to the public. We wanted to join the national garden day this year, but thought we still had a bit of work to do to make the deadline. So, with the extra time of three weeks, we will open to friends and general public at no charge for a view of the Vanha Talo Suomi Gardens.

Event location: Routelantie 20, 08350 Lohja (Uusimaa)

When: 29 July, 2018

Time: 12:00 – 18:00

¤ Child friendly – no pets please ¤

Guided Finnish language tour at 13.30 & 16:30

We’ve brought in a lot of new items this year – and we are looking forward to sharing our garden with you. If you’re in the area we would love to see you on the 29th!

    1. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm & support!
Currently, we’re suffering from severely hot conditions and a rain deficit, it’s been a real struggle to keep everything hydrated and alive. All is well though! I will put up some photos in the next day or so. Just taking me a long time to do inside stuff with so much energy being spent outdoors. 🙂
Thank you again – your kind words are very uplifting!
